Building the Future

Ozaukee Family Services has been making an impact in Ozaukee County by providing vital services to children, teens, adults, and seniors since 1974. During that time, we have touched the lives of over 150,000 local people through various programs that provide education, counseling, and support to anyone living in Ozaukee County. Most of our programs are free, and we never turn anyone away due to an inability to pay.

The demand for our programs was outpacing our capacity to serve all who needed us and we outgrew our space in Grafton. We moved to 4922 Columbia Road in the Town of Cedarburg in February of 2022. There were some major repairs that had to be done on the new building including heating and cooling system replacement, a new roof, windows, and changing the layout to meet our needs. Our goal was to make this property a safe, welcoming, and trauma-sensitive environment where OFS would continue to advance its mission of Improving lives to help individuals and families succeed and help Ozaukee County remain a safe and healthy place to live and work.

Of course, we couldn’t have done this without the financial support of the community. Thank you to everyone who has contributed. It’s not too late to invest in the future of Ozaukee Family Services and empower us to improve the lives of thousands more individuals and families in the coming years.

Who You Help

When you give to Ozaukee Family Services, you are supporting over 6,000 local children, teens, adults and seniors that we serve every year.

For more than 45 years, OFS has been a small but steady presence in the community providing education and support for parents, counseling and groups for people who might not otherwise be able to afford help during difficult times, prevention education in Ozaukee County schools and services for seniors to help them remain living independently in their homes.

Perhaps we have touched you directly, or helped someone you love, or supported a friend in your church, or a family on your block. Because of the generosity of our donors no one is ever turned away because of an inability to pay for services.

Ozaukee Family Services is a non-profit agency, and we could not help so many without the help of donors; people like you who care about making Ozaukee County a safe and healthy place to live and work.

With your help we will continue to be there for the people who need us … improving lives to help individuals and families succeed.

Endowment

In 2015, Ozaukee Family Services established an Endowment Fund through the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. This was done in honor of Cheri Farnsworth in acknowledgement of her 22 years of service as the Executive Director of OFS. The OFS Endowment Fund provides stability and continued support for the important services provided by OFS and helps ensure that these services will be available to the community well into the future.

Your contribution to the OFS Endowment Fund is an investment in the health of individuals and families in Ozaukee County. OFS’ programs touch the lives of over 6,000 individuals each year, and we take that responsibility seriously. Please consider a gift to our endowment to ensure that our community continues to benefit from our services and remains a great place to live and work.
